Nyx Ciel is an autistic, nonbinary storyteller with small-town roots and bighearted dreams. Raised on a chicken farm in a conservative pocket of NorCal, they are now based in Los Angeles and have come out of more closets than their hometown had stoplights. They hit the ground running with a conservatory scholarship to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and have been consistently booking for the last decade.

Recent successes include debuting in the new queer pirate musical “The Great Age of Sail” as Admiral Matthews, a supporting role in upcoming Feature “The Unicorn Diaries” and starring in a pair of short films (“Whispers in the Dark” and “Runaway Train,”) as well as an undisclosed commercial booking.

When they’re not acting on stage or screen, Nyx can be found at open mics throughout LA sharing their poetry, which they hope to publish by the end of the year, or running one of their many weekly TTRPG games as a professional GM. They’re also a trained and certified intimacy coordinator with TIE!

Autistic and unapologetically queer, their goal is always to educate, inform, entertain, and inspire. They hope to be the representation they never had, but always needed, growing up.
